WMPR App Security Scanner - Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

WMPR App Security Scanner is developed by MD App Creation. This Privacy Policy explains how the app and its third-party services collect, access, use, process, store, and share information.

1. Local App Analysis

When you start a security scan, WMPR App Security Scanner collects on your device the complete inventory of user-installed and pre-installed apps. For each app, WMPR collects its name, package identifier, version information, icon, size, installation and last-update dates, installation source, launcher-icon availability, the complete list of permissions it declares or requests and whether each permission is granted, and declared or active special access: Accessibility Service, Device Administrator, display over other apps, and install unknown apps.

WMPR uses this installed-app information only to calculate risk scores, classify and sort apps, explain risk reasons, and provide scan results and security review recommendations. The information and scan results are processed and stored only on your device.

WMPR does not read SMS message content, contacts, call logs, location data, photos, files, camera images, or microphone recordings. It only examines whether installed apps request or have the related permissions.

Installed-app information and scan results are not transmitted, uploaded, or synchronized to MD App Creation servers; are not sold; and are not shared with Google AdMob or any other third party. Android automatic cloud backup is disabled, and scan information is not included in cloud backups.

2. Permission Usage

QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: Used only to list installed applications for the app's security scan.

INTERNET: Used to provide Google AdMob advertising in the free version and to communicate with Google Play services.

POST_NOTIFICATIONS and RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Used for optional scan reminders and scheduled scan-related notifications.

3. Advertising and Google Mobile Ads

The free version uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Depending on device settings, region, consent choices, and ad availability, Google may automatically collect and share the following categories of information:

Google processes this information for advertising or marketing, analytics, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance. Data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

4. Consent and Privacy Choices

The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request or update privacy choices where required. Advertising is initialized only when the consent system indicates that ads may be requested. Depending on your region, you may be shown options concerning personalized advertising and related data processing.

You can reset or delete your Android advertising ID and manage advertising privacy settings in your Android device settings. You can also manage applicable Google advertising choices through My Ad Center. Pro subscribers do not receive ads from the app.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

The developer does not operate a server that stores installed app lists, scan results, advertising identifiers, or AdMob diagnostic data. Scan information stored by the app remains on the device and can be removed by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. Information processed by Google is handled according to Google's policies and user controls linked above.

6. Pro Purchases and Subscriptions

Monthly and yearly Pro subscriptions, as well as the one-time 24-hour Pro access purchase, are processed through Google Play Billing. The 24-hour option is a one-time payment, does not renew automatically, and provides Pro access for 24 hours from purchase. The developer does not collect or store payment card information. Google handles billing information under its own privacy policy.

7. Children's Privacy

WMPR App Security Scanner is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. Advertising and consent behavior may also be limited by applicable Google policies and regional requirements.

8. Security

Installed app analysis remains on the device. Data transmitted by supported Google services is encrypted in transit. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the app, third-party services, or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
